Toni Nakumura (1983) was born and raised in Catania
where his father ran an ice factory.

He studied architecture at the university of Reggio Calabria
and agriculture at the university of Messina. Simultaneously.
He liked the view from the ferry that connected both cities.

Toni Nakamura lives with his wife and three children in the countryside near Reggio Calabria.
He gives lectures and workshops on sustainable architecture and self-sufficient living.

The sounds on this release are from his collection of cassettes
that over the last decades he has found in the streets of Reggio and Messina.
