about

Rue Cassette in Paris was 'discovered' in the year 2009 by Harold Schellinx on one of his many walks. It was the time of the Tape Runs. In the first half of the second decade of the 21st century I visited Paris regularly. As an addition to the Paris Tape Run we came up with the idea to line up our friends and colleagues at either side of the street. Each would perform live for five minutes. As Harold wrote:"It is a narrow one-way street, where the pavement stretches out before you: indeed, as if it were a stretch of tape."

All mini-concerts were recorded directly on tape with a Sony walkman pro.

Recorded on 20. June 2010
