This is an excerpt of Angélica's selection of found sounds. Her selection was based on, well.. her words as you can find them in the zine that comes with the C90: "I am always using all kind of tapes in my performances and compositions ... sometimes I use originals... recorded by myself or found tapes as well... and I never digitalize them... they get used, tired, a bit destroyed or even eaten by the machine ... I like that ... when the sound develops and changes with the use...

The tapes of my childhood, this kind of love letters from a child to her mother disappeared soon...

I would love so much to listen to them! So, this search for sonic jewels, micro-phonographies, sudden eruptions of another reality and poetic errors in tapes is an attempt to get them back... at least in my imagination."
